Where's an out-of-body experience when you need one?

I was at work for a whole hour yesterday, beset by fever and chills, before I said the hell with it and went home. Much tossing, turning, and slurping of water ensued, and needless to say I did not get my shoulders worked on. :( I'm going to call in and talk to the triage nurse at the clinic about whether this is flu or just a particularly nasty cold; in the meantime, I'm going back to bed for a while. More Tylenol, more water.

Your future as an artist

Good news: You can still make a comfortable living as an artist.
Bad news: It often involves being shot at.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that serious study of realistic art and the uses of history gets done in the military more than it does in academia?
