Not a good start to the weekend

I've had the sinking feeling for the last week or so that I screwed up on my taxes this year, and this morning that feeling was confirmed in a conversation with the IRS. I misread the instructions in one section fo TurboTax which I thought was giving me credit for the $1100 I paid them last year, and as a result I now owe them money...unless I can find a way to recoup that by doing a little scuffling, dredging up receipts, and filing a 1040X amended return. (Probably an M1X as well, to cover myself with the lads & lasses in St. Paul.) I'm pretty sure I can work this, but it's going to take some digging.Good thing I didn't have much in the way of plans for this weekend and may have even less if redmartel remains as sick as he was last night. He did not sound well at all.

Right now, though, I think I'm going to nuke some soup and do the lunch thing.
