Ha! Yes, he was always "the saint" to me too - seemed odd and out
of place as bond. Connery was, I think, the only bond who would kill
in cold blood; the rest all seemed very quickly to catch the politically
correct thing, and become a McGiver with a million ways to incapacitate
humanely.... what is a 00 FOR if not the one person in the structure who
by head of gov/royal decree is above the need for the political nicety?
