I'll bet it did. Don't know if things have changed since I went through the language school, but back in the day the Army actually had the interrogators practice some of the more common techniques on each other while going through training. Some people washed out because they couldn't deal with watching what happened to people who were being waterboarded...and others who were washed out for enjoying being on the active end way too much.
