Saturday afternoon, with errands

Predictably, I slept in until after noon today, and then idled away a good part of the afternoon before heading out to the library, where I picked up Gaiman's Anansi Boys, Simon Winder's The Man Who Saved Britain, the second volume of Chrisopher Anivil's Interstellar Patrol, and David Brin's Brightness Reef. I've already stared Anansi Boys, which looks to be quite a trainwreck and hard to put down. Also stopped at Walgreens for bandages and sponges; finally to WalMart for test strips and sundry groceries.

I'm thinking of just punting the rest of the evening and going to bed early, assuming I can put down Anansi Boys long enough to manage it.
