I have to wonder why some conservatives are so angry with liberals for making money. Ain't that the American Dream?
It is, indeed. It's not the making money that's being objected to, but rather the snobby elitism that they and their kids seem to pick up somewhere along the line. You know, the one that presumes that they know better how to run our lives/spend our money than we do. It's on particularly ugly display not only in the Obama foot-in-mouth episode that provoked this post, but in the Minnesota DFL legislative leadership at the moment. Ye gods.
