You didn't miss much - he evidently has never met anyone like me, which considering the circles he travels in doesn't surprise me at all, and he seems to have a real problem with disagreeable curmudgeons who can back their positions up with actual experience. He strikes me as all too typical of leftists who have never met a real, breathing, flesh-and-blood conservative and imagine that they're all like the dumb, brutal stereotypes they read about in the media and their favorite blogs. I don't have the patience to argue with someone that deliberately ignant any more, though.

I think mle292 understands that I'm not kidding about being a Falangist and unlike our dipshit young artist, she understands where I'm coming from with it. We've worked together at Convergence a few times and politics never came up, so...*shrug*
