Flying down to (the) Rio
Weight down, BP & BG normal this morning. Drank my breakfast because I was too lazy to fix anything solid, and I'll be stopping at Raley's on the way out of town anyway.
To my surprise, the Rio was actually cheaper than the Stratosphere by a few bucks, so I'll be there for the next couple of days while getting tested for NASH and shopping for groceries at the Walmart.
The credit union screwed up my address in their system and charged me $5 for a bad address fee, but I got that fixed this morning. Also put in for a new CCCU credit card now that my student loans are gone and my credit rating is up a little. It would be nice to shift my balance off the Capital One card onto a credit union card, which will almost certainly have a lower interest rate than 24.99%. I'm old enough to remember when interest rates like that were illegal in most states, but back then nobody had credit cards anyway.
Time to stuff my clothes into my pack, put my shoes on, and hit the road.
