Subway Saturday
Oct. 2nd, 2022 02:25 pmWeight went down yesterday but was back up today. BP was normal yesterday and today, although the meter said it was high today. BG was good yesterday and today.
Subway was offering a deal to get a free footlong with the purchase of two, so I decided to take advantage of this and stash the roast beef & club subs in the fridge and have the meatball sub for "lunch". That was the plan; the reality was that I ate all three of the subs for dinner and went to bed early...woke up briefly around 0300, and went back to sleep until 0930.
The second Russian playthrough was successful up to the point where the Axis invaded both the Soviet Union and Smirnov's Trotskyite Ukraine. Maybe I'll try it again in Omsk, and maybe not.
Looking at Priceline, I think I'll be staying at the Stratosphere again, this time for a couple of days, and coming back to Tonopah on Wednesday after filling the cooler with sundry frozen and refrigerated items from Walmart and maybe Sam's Club.
Unwelcome news: Bidenflation comes to my humble abode, as the property management office wants to jack the rent up to $770, almost $100 more than the current amount. I can afford it, but it's still a pain. Somehow I doubt any increase in the SSDI is going to cover this.
