Something else to do

I'm beginning to think that something has gotten screwed up in either my work copy of Internet Exploder, the firewall at the Evil Banking Neighbor, or LiveJournal itself, because this is the second day in a row that my LJ has loaded like an arthritic sloth, my F-page has loaded even more slowly, and the links off that page to comments and cuts just don't want to work at all.
Short of installing Firefox, which would probably get me canned and might not fix the problem anyway, I'm at a loss as to what to do - so in the meantime I'm just going to forget about it. I spend enough time on LJ at home anyway, and I can always take notes if I see anything interesting in the blogosphere while I'm surfing at work.

Today was ungodly slow. Tonight, heading over to [livejournal.com profile] phoenixalpha's joint to celebrate her birthday, and then going home to take drugs, rip CDs, curl up and whimper, etc...Tomorrow I have class after work, and hopefully will get some of that sweet sweet student loan goodness in the bank account, since I have the rent, the laundry, and a number of bills that I really need to pay before next payday next Friday and I'd really rather not take a direct deposit advance. We'll see what happens.

In the meantime, it's time to get the hell out of here and go home.

Sorry, Wombat. It 's on your end. I've had no problems accessing anything on LJ. Good Luck with class. What are you studyng?

Yesterday LJ was loading real slow. The other week it was acting wierd too. It kept logging me out every time I changed pages or tried to do anything, like post. Of course I am on Mac at work which might explain my problems. I firmly believe the internets hate the Mac.

RLB should be burning systems of romance any moment
and then I can hear it again, for the first time in, maybe,
20 years? ah.
