In the money, if there was any

Well, my fantasy team finished fifth this year, which is not as good as the Twins and a lot better than the Nationals. Sadly, all three playoff games are at noon (no thanks to either ESPN or FOX) and I can't get any AM reception in the Alternate Emergency World Headquarters of the Evil Banking neighbor. Maybe they'll put them on the big screen in the Northstar? I can hope.

I failed to mention in my catchall post on the weekend that [livejournal.com profile] jolest was kind enough to give me several games for the TX, including Vexed and a Palm version of the old 3M board game Acquire. Both of them are making my brain sweat, which is a good thing.

I'm taking the afternoon off to go home and watch the game

I have 5.5 days of PTO, and I'm sorely tempted to follow your example. The only thing stopping me is that every year for the last three years I've gotten godawful sick in November or December, and I don't want to run out of PTO in case that happens again.

I haven't taken very many days off this year so I've got vacation time to spare that I don't know what to do with, plus a few hours left on my sick-time for the year. Given that I have to have my vacation hours down to 80 hours by May 1, I may as well burn a few off now.

Indeed. Let me take a moment to be jealous of you for still having separate sick leave and vacation time. ;)
