no time for games, we're writing tonight
I thought I'd be more tired than I was today, but I wasn't...however, it's finally catching up with me. I think all the brain sweat I spent on bank reconciliations today and the previous post sucked all the energy out of me, leaving just enough to nuke a few hot dogs and get laundry going.
Long chat with
jamestrainor last night about family stuff. He surprised the hell out of me by offering me his EVE account, and I still don't know what I'm going to do with it. (I know, I know, x up for ops. :condi:)

On top of that, the Goonfleet of today is not the Goonfleet I joined.

What do you mean when you say this? I'm curious - is it a matter of too many old hands (FNLN, frex) having dropped out, or do you think Goonfleet has changed fundamentally since the Syndicate days? There are some obvious answers, but I want to know what your take on it is. Feel free to post :words:, here or in your own LJ. Inquiring minds want to know!

One guy came in, asked where we were deployed, I made a smart ass comment about reading the forums. He said 'well, I only have one ship, but that should be enough... commented that it better be a titan.
Well, it was a capital ship, in any case, and he was a director. oops :) We had fun convincing him I was a teenaged boy, however. He actually bought it for a bit. :)
