Larry Correia brings the pain.

Laying the smackdown on some lazy chump at the Grauniad.

In semi-related news, since I picked up $10 Amazon credit from doing surveys, I think I'm going to get David Drake's newest RCN novel, The Sea Without a Shore. Also, going to fork out the $4 to pick up The Original Uncut SOUL SURVIVOR, which I'd previously borrowed from the Amazon Prime lending library, thus giving [livejournal.com profile] harvey_rrit a double dip on the royalties.

NOW I'm going to go out and get shit done.

"Sea" is good, classic Leary/Mundy. I'm partial to this series, as an Aubrey / Maturin fan, a fan of Dave's, AND he redshirted me (albeit with a minor misspelling of my name) in When the Tide Rises.

I may have to pick up the Aubrey/Maturin series at some point, but I have a hard time imagining that it's going to compare well to the Hornblower novels on the one hand and the RCN novels on the other.

I read Aubrey / Maturin first, then Hornblower. Hornblower was actually a letdown for me.
