Happy Easter!

Leg is still swollen and warm to the touch but the redness has subsided and it doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did yesterday, so I guess it's on the way out.

Stayed up until almost midnight rereading Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix and Charles Stross' Singularity Sky, which gave rise to some very strange dreams, no doubt exacerbated by falling asleep to the techno/dance "Simply Butter" program on KFAI. Slept well, but not long...woke at 6:30 to the alarm which I had set for some reason and then again at 7:30 once I remembered why I set the alarm: I had minerals to haul to KZF for sale, and an early-morning run down the pipe has proven the best way to avoid enemy ganksquads. So it was this morning, and I cashed in bigtime.

I need to go out to the grocery store and get foodz; the place is pretty well emptied of lunch-type food and things easily prepared except for hot dogs, and I think it says volumes about how messed up I am that I can't really stand to be up for the relatively short length of time it takes to boil a couple of hot dogs.

Sort of like the fact that I first saw the film Manhunter a million years ago on Showtime - alone in the house in the middle of the night during a storm.

This is not the place to be introduced to Dr. Lector...

So much better than the rest of the films. I remain convinced that while Hopkins did a excellent Lector, Cox did a brilliant one.

Everything I know about Hannibal Lector I know from fanfic and memes. No, really...but having said that, yeah, that sounds like just about the worst way to see any of those movies, with the possible exception of psychoactive chemicals being involved.
