Having tasted the forbidden fruit of fansub torrents (particularly WRT Haruhi), Steven den Beste is concerned that errors in the fansub translation might have affected how the series is perceived in the Stateside otaku community. I've been deliberately avoiding anything to do with Haruhi until it's released domestically; does anyone who's actually seen the fansubs have an opinion on this?
