Black Friday

Didn't plan to take advantage of any sales yesterday since there were going to be a few zillion crazy people out there in a monstrous consumer scrum, so all I wound up shopping for was some PB crackers for Mom and some yogurt for me. After buying these items, I stopped by Marino's where I bought the best steak, cheese & egg sub I'd had since I left God's Country in 1983. The onion rings weren't so great, but at least it's a Coke joint.

In other news, my niece showed up, apparently under the impression that her ejection was just for Thanksgiving. Guess we'll find out in the morning. Hope it's not too noisy or violent.

Yeah, I'm not much for holiday shopping madness. I bought all my presents online last week. Boring but useful stuff like DVDs and gift cards. Now I'm done with it and can just enjoy the season.

The only "door busting" I did was to drive out to Buffalo, Minnesota to meet my kitten.

I like not having to deal with crowds and cars ... unless I want to! I actually like going to the mall during the holiday season to see all the displays, but it's not as fun when I'm under pressure to find gifts.
