Date: 2004-08-24 04:02 pm (UTC)With diabetes of both types on both sides of my family, I've always keep a close eye on my blood sugar, and I've found that it's not what you eat, it how much, what kind, and what you eat it with.
I have english muffins for breakfast often, but I make sure they're coupled with a fiberous fruit or high-pulp juice, and then have veggies throughout the day to push the sugary stuff through with no harm.
My blood sugar tends to hang around 170 after meals and trails off to about 100 in the in-between.
at least you're smart enough to keep track!
