Good weigh-in this week, which is a little surprising since I usually gain weight over the weekend of a convention, but since I porked out to 415 last week before Diversicon, discipline reasserted itself over the weekend. Or maybe it was just disgust at having spent a week eating like a P-I-G hog. Anyway, the scale read 409.2 this Friday, down almost six pounds from last week but still 3.2 pounds more than I started August with. I don't think I'll dump all of those pounds before Labor Day, but it's not impossible.

Well if it's of any comfort, I've been stuck at the same weight for the last few weeks even with all the exercise I've been doing. It didn't help that I was out all afternoon for three days this week and had to have lunch out those days. Even with eating Lean Cuisine at home for dinner, I haven't lost any pounds this week.

Sometimes that happens - you hit a plateau and nothing seems to get you off it and back on the weight loss trail. Keep plugging! It'll come off!

I'm changing things up a bit right now. I've started wearing wrist wieghts as I do the treadmill. That should burn a few extra calories as I move my arms while walking.

Of course my Mom making Peach pie tonight isn't going to help one bit. Oh well. I would like to lose a few more pounds before AI though. I'll have to start being a bit better again about not having ice cream. It's only 1 small single scoop when I do have it, but every calorie adds up eventually.

Pie, the ultimate enemy of dieters! :) It sounds like you're keeping a good attitude about this and making changes in your routine - and that's what you need to make progress.

I should write a book when I'm done. "The No-Plan Weight Loss Guide" I can self-publish it, do all the graphic design and page layouts for it and make a fortune! Yeah, that's the ticket.
