Never thought I'd see something like this.

That said, if you read the original article, the pollster still thinks that he'll be smiling, because Kerry will pull off the upset.

It's still early in the day...and I have no idea where it'll go by the end...

I see he's talking about the popular vote, which doesn't mean much in the presidential race. Personally, I hope whoever wins wins big and takes both the popular and the electoral vote so we don't have to listen to this "selected not elected" noise for four more years.

Actually, this is probably one of the few time we'll be in agreement on this election. I hope it's a margin big enough that we can be sure that it isn't impacted by any fraud, supression, peculiarities of the electoral system, and so on.

I think everyone is in agreement on that point.

The nice thing about all these predictions and articles is knowing that we don't have much longer to find out.
One way or the other, it'll be a blessing to have this campaign season over and done with.

*nods emphatically* It sure will. Anybody who's not sick of politics by now needs help...except for the professionals, and I'll bet even they'll be glad when it's over.

I'm actually looking forward to the return of all the normal TV/Radio advertisers to the airwaves.

I bet a lot of TIVOs were sold this year so people could watch TV live and skip all the commercials. Also, not a bad arguement for getting commercial-free Satellite Radio.
