marainsanity, I may just be the Most Stupid Wombat in the Western Hemisphere, having completely forgotten in the space of two weeks that while I only had hotel reservations at the Sheraton National in Arlington for two nights (i.e. through Sunday), in fact I wasn't leaving until Monday. I was reminded of this truth when I arrived at Reagan National on Sunday afternoon and attempted to check in, at which point the skycap told me that yes, I was on the 3:30 flight - tomorrow.
Vehicle rental and many cell phone calls ensued, and I eventually wound up in Frederick, about which more later.
