I haven't had a lot to say about the current flap that has the "Islamic street" in an uproar, mainly because Mark Steyn and Cox and Forkum have pretty much said all that I think needs to be said. But just to make my position perfectly clear:

One more time in English:

I'll be going out to pick up some Legos and Danish cheese next payday, I think. Illegitimi non carborundum, my Danish brothers.

EDIT: Banner source files moved and HTML edited so you could actually read what they said. Some things the LJ software doesn't do as well as a little editing in Notepad...

I'm with you, Wombat. Legos and Hans Christian Andersen rock! I still do want to beleive that most Muslim people are good hearted and peace loving. The violent ones involved in these cartoons are a bunch of frustrated wackos, with nothing better to do, much like the nut jobs on the far right here in the US.

If you're still working downtown mpls, you should truck on over to Surdyk's and get some Danish Tilsit cheese. It's tasty. And not stupidly expensive.

If Christians responded the same way as the radical Muslims do over these cartoons every time a cartoon defaming Jesus was printed, we'd be rioting 24/7. . .

If people are free to mock my faith (which they are, whether I find it offensive or not), every other faith should be treated the same way.
