The actual end of summer

For some dumb reason I was up until 0400 last night; woke up a little before noon to find it was raining, so I said the hell with it and went back to bed for another four hours. So all told I slept in for a little less than twelve hours. 

Raley's app was back up in all its dubious glory; it still can't find the store in Tonopah. Still, the online SE coupons worked and that was good enough for me: went over and got bagels on sale, cream for coffee, and some more piroshki. 

Bagged up garbage from the kitchen and the desk, stashed some games in the hallway spaces, and began sorting some of Melody's (I assume they are Melody's, although some of them are Ace Doubles, so they might be Louie's) for sale. 

Have to call the office on Monday and have John pull the AC so I can close the window. It's getting down into the 40s at night now.

I forgot how much sleep I got last night, but I'm pretty sure it was enough. And even then, I took an inadvertent nap earlier.

It's starting to get colder here, too. Finally, the bliss of hoodie weather is here.

It's weird how the cold up here is easier to deal with than it was in DC and Minnesota. Didn't think the lack of humidity would matter that much, but it does.
