No surprise there

wombat_sochoWell, the weigh-in today actually went better than I expected, considering the way I pigged out on Saturday. To be honest, though, if I hadn't gotten my ears lowered after work yesterday I probably would have tacked on a couple of pounds. So, no progress but no weight gain either. Next week our group leader will be out of town, and since she couldn't find a replacement we're just going to have a weigh-in with no meeting. That's actually fine with me, since I'm the token fat man in the group and I can't relate to most of the problems the women in the group are having. Back to fitday.com and the daily tracking, assuming of course that the Crowne Plaza in Cedar Rapids has free internet access. The backup plan for that will involve making sure I have one of the Weight Watchers pocket journals packed in with my glucose meter so that if there isn't any access I can enter all the info on Monday after I get back.
Schoolwork...before I go out on tonight's laundry run, I'm going to sit down and tweak the lesson plan and the unit plan I have left over from previous classes. The printer is still hors de combat, so I'll just save them to the thumb drive and print them out tomorrow at work before chucking them in the mail. The unit plan will probably take more twiddling, but we'll see how that goes.
Today's been pretty uneventful; not a while lot of work crossing my desk, so I had plenty of time to review the lesson and unit plan mentioned above, brush up on the history of the Roman Republic, do a little reading about the Chinese Civil War, and otherwise take advantage of Wikipedia's bounty of historical knowledge.
UPDATE: Well, so much for that plan...don't know if it's the aftereffects of the sunburn I acquired this weekend or what, but I am dog tired and think the best thing to do is hit the rack and get my sleep on so I can tackle all the other stuff tomorrow. *thud*
