I think Aaron Gleeman (www.aarongleeman.com) and I both wanted to call Terry Ryan and scream at him "HAVE YOU THE BRAINWORMS!?!?!?" when they sent Bartlett back to Rochester. I mean, WTF, really? How could anyone with the ability to evaluate major league talent think that Batista and Castro had anything to contribute to this team defensively? It's things like that (and the persistence of Old Leatherpants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Bowden)) which convince me that most of the people using up air in MLB's front offices could be replaced by a bunch of Rotisserie geeks at half the cost. Don't even get me started on the owners.
