From the Orville Redenbacher article: "Advertising psychologist Carol Moog says there's "a certain creepiness" to reviving Redenbacher but expects it'll sell popcorn. "There's going to be a macabre fascination."

I've seen the ad, and thought it was "ooky"*, but not as ooky as the idea of watered down necrophilia used to sell snack food.
