Into the weekend

wombat_sochoWell, this is going to be one crappy weekend, and no mistake: the high temperature tomorrow is supposed to be -2 degrees, and this will be SOP for most of the next fortnight. Temperatures won't approach freezing until a week from Sunday. I say to hell with the damn polar bears! Throw some more coal on the fire, and get that global warmening rolling! Why waste millions on a jungle biodome in Iowa when we can have real jungles? As further evidence that my brain has been affected by the excessive cold, I'm finally going to have the Sportage's busted tail pipe looked at...tomorrow morning at 8. We'll see how much it costs, and then I'll decide if I want to replace it or just have them slap some duct tape on it.
Work's been fairly busy; I've been saddled with another project that involves going through a bunch of closed AU and cost centers to kill off their recurring volumes. It's slow but steady work and is liable to take me most of the month.
