Woke up at 0400, couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up, cleaned out the e-mail, read webcomics, and did some production stuff in EVE.
Guess I'll hit the shower, dress, and get some breakfast on the way to an early start at work, not necessarily in that order.

avoiding the politics and missile throwing that always comes
with the topic, how is the gaza gig looking to you in military terms?

i have found the "cut it into pieces and avoid the urban areas" an
interesting opening gambit - what are you thoughts?

This really deserves its own post, but as someone at Ace's place (IIRC) pointed out, the Israelis are doing the same thing we did in Second Fallujah - use intel to pinpoint where the enemy is, beat on the larger & more obvious targets with air strikes and artillery, and then blow up buildings & clear rubble with combat engineering vehicles to avoid getting trapped in predictable killing grounds. It's no surprise that they're doing it better; we learned it from them, after all.
