Despite a crappy start from Scott Baker, the Dukes vaulted into sixth place past the West Side Jackalopes and Team Meyer last night. Part of that was due to Ian Kinsler going 6 for 6 and hitting for the cycle against the O's (sweet sweet revenge, my precious!) and part of that was Tim Wakefield going the distance against the A's, but I think the biggest part was that neither of those two teams appear to be actively managed. Whatever works. :)

I'm semi-actively managing, meaning I really don't start pulling the trigger on crap players until May. I hate small sample sizes; it's too hard to judge until they've played at least a month, IMO

This is true, but their 2009 projections were pretty mediocre and there were players I liked better that were available.

The Hong Kong Cavaliers are holding steady, boy do I wish we had Jason Kubal tonight (Hit for the cycle, 5 rbi). Send Gomez down and play that boy every night!
