No seriously. I’m heading back. It’s where I belong. Rather feel out of joint there on occasion than sit here with mildewed sci-fi mags and dream of the future, y’know?

Time travel

I would only take the ticket if it was round trip. You know? I would go back for a period of time (with limited possessions) and come back that period of time later. It would be as if I went of vacation. When would I go and what would I take? 1920s (maybe 1926) with full inoculations, recent dental care, 100 (+) pounds of gold and a reasonably authentic set of clothes. I would go for at least six months. I don't know where I would go. I would probably talk too much in the bars around certain airports. The biggest complication to this plan is the damn Time Cops.

I could definitely see you in the 1920s, hanging out the airfield watering holes and taking surreptitious pix of the pioneers of aviation.

As for me, I was daydreaming the other day about going back to 1965 with a quantity of gold, a list of stock prices, and then making sure Bob Short never bought the Senators. Everybody has a fantasy.
