Jun. 13th, 2007 09:24 amThank God. Slate's Paul Boutin describes the miseries attendant on driving the Studebaker Avanti, which was cutting-edge auto tech in 1963. I used to want an Avanti so bad I could taste it, but these days I think I'll stick with my Sportage. This is another example of the kind of thing I'm talking about here.
