I don't know what I'm doing up either

Well, except for the business of moving addresses from Cowzilla to the Dell and firing off the party invitations, I have no idea where the last four hours went since I got home from Discland. Probably wasted on LJ.

Got together after work with some folks who don't work in Bank Accounting; it was just the four of us, since evidently the other people invited had babysitter problems or something, but that was okay. After that I went back to Gaviidae, got the truck out of hock, and headed home by way of the SA (since the Kia was running on fumes at that point) with an additional stop at Discland, since I have a mess of their coupons from Cub. Wound up with a copy of David Bowie's Black Tie White Noise, Metallica's Ride The Lightning, and a two-disc Pat Benatar compilation. First impressions: the Bowie CD doesn't suck (so much for the critics), early Metallica > later Metallica, and this is really not a good time for me to be listening to Pat Benatar songs.

Couple more rejections from Fairfax County principals in the e-mail this morning. I'm definitely in a better mood to deal with that this morning than I was last night. Somewhere between the moving consultant appointment in the morning and arriving home yesterday I managed to misplace my phone. Hopefully it's in the Kia. Anyway...time to go pick up jamestrainor and head over to Le Demesne jxxtan to help her and pkat move. Breakfast on the way, probably at BK.

Laundry tonight, maybe some socializing. Maybe internet spaceships. I kind of feel the need to blow shit up.

UPDATE: jamestrainor was up all night and could not be moved, but at least I found my phone. Under my desk chair. *facepalm*
