just lucky I guess

Stayed up way too late last night reading The Protector's War, but it was worth it. Starting A Meeting at Corvallis but am not even going to try to get that one done before crashing tonight.

Wal-Mart seemed to be out of surgical sponges, but fortunately they had some at the pharmacy counter waiting for shopback and I took three. Add in some soup, Surgipads, and chicken lumps, and that took care of all the shopping I'll need to do until next payday. I should probably do some baking tomorrow after work...it's not like I bought the flour and sugar for appearances.

Also, quite predictably, as soon as I bought a new six-in-one screwdriver, the old Phillips head showed up. Bah.
