oh god, still awake
Sep. 29th, 2008 08:51 pmUp fairly late last night dealing with laundry and stuff; barely managed to drag my ass out of bed this morning at 0715. Good thing I showered & shaved late yesterday, so I could just suit up and hit the road. Wound up driving into Springfield to make some deposits and did lunch at a Mexican joint around the corner from work; the enchiladas were okay, but the flan was OUTSTANDING. Very much worth the sugar surge.
Put the bread robot to work converting the last three bananas into tasty yummy starch component, grilled a club sandwich, and ate that with some chicken & sausage gumbo. Mmmm, soup. It's almost enough to make me think about finding a crockpot, but not tonight. Also not on tonight are garbage ejection and bookshelves, both of which will be attempted tomorrow. Or maybe apahacking, since the collation is Saturday. For now, sloth, indolence, and The Protector's War. I was skimming through John Stossel's Myths, Lies, and Outright Stupidity, but a lot of it I knew already, and I may not finish it. Like Jonah Goldberg's Liberal Fascism, a lot of the folks who ought to read it won't. :(
