T-7, or, Farewell My Waifus

Well, Yostar couldn't find my old account, so I gave up and am just rebuilding from the ground up. So much to do, but at least I have my sweet Nevada again, and I need to Pump Her Up.

Was surprised to get a call this morning from Suds & Duds letting me know that my clothes were ready, so I zoomed up and got them along with a BOGO breakfast at Sonic. Most of the day was spent finishing returns, doing some simple ones, doing a zero-balance extension, and fighting with the authentication app on my new phone so that I could sign in and do my OLA shift. They may be desperate for help, but it looks like my schedule has been cleared of OLA shifts through the 18th, and I told Elizabeth I'd be happy to hang around and do clients.

Finished my last two clients in 30 minutes each and punched out at 2030. Put half a tank in the Kia at Maverik, grabbed a sandwich and chips and soda and went back to the hotel. Maybe tomorrow I'll shop for stuff at Walmart.

Weather turned nasty today. Strong winds, snow in the sunshine, and freezing temperatures when I got off work. The next couple of days are going to be cold, and it won't really warm up again until Sunday,
