Actually 219, but it's pretty mind-blowing that I topped 200 returns for the first time since 2015...not sure I did 200 in my last year at Foxchase either, come to think of it. I benefited immensely from being a senior tax pro in an office where we had a TPA and a tax associate, because they jump-started a lot of returns that I finished. According to my IPP spreadsheet and this morning's DAR, I'm looking at a $7500 bonus before taking this week's paycheck into consideration, so after taxes (and the hours from this weekend) it's probably going to be more like $4000, but that's still a huge chunk of cash. Probably going to pay some outstanding bills, replace the Kia's windshield so I can sell it, and stick some in the Cardboard Box Fund.

Right now I need to shoot up some insulin after some wretched excess at Texas Steakhouse last night, pack up and decamp from the Extended Stay America, and start heading for Tonopah - after a detour back up 580 to pillage Sam's Club. Going to go home via Fallon instead of Yerington this time, since the Maverik in Yerington is closed for remodeling. It'll take a little longer, but that's okay. It's not like I'm in a hurry to get home.

Well, that didn't feel like five hours plus, and I don't have a clue as to why. Drinking more Arizona Diet Green than Diet Coke, maybe? Anyway, I got home around 1900, unloaded the Kia, scanned and put away all the stuff from Sam's Club (where I spent $93 on shrimp, salmon, butter, nuts, English muffins, and croissants, but no sushi)  plus some of the stuff I kept from the hotel fridge. I left all the frozen stuff behind, not that that amounted to much (some Michelina's stuff, mostly) as well as the sprouts, but I did haul the tea and the cream home. It would probably have been easier to pack if I'd brought the range bag upstairs last night, but all I wanted to do when I got home Monday night was go to bed and sleep.

Went home by way of Fallon, which may have helped as well. It certainly seemed like a shorter drive between there and Schurz, as opposed to going through Yerington, even though it wasn't.

Not going to blog tonight; just going to plug stuff back into the home laptop. Maybe I should consider buying a new desktop or having that guy in North Minneapolis build me a new one.
