Laundry Day, Part 2
Apr. 25th, 2022 10:34 pmWeight and BG were both down this morning, and BP was mixed.
The original plan was to get out, get to the bank, get a check for George, drop off the Kindle at the bookstore's UPS drop, and mail out the headphones along with George's check before going off to get the remainder of my laundry done, but in the end I only managed to get the laundry done. Better than nothing. I did (perhaps predictably) find the missing cup, plate, and backscratcher in the chaos beside the deskside tote and the shelves. Murphy is always watching.
In the seventh iteration of Rome Vs. Arctic Wastelands. I've gotten to the point where the Empire has currency and is making more by croaking barbarians, who are fortunately numerous. Have to find the right balance between having enough troops to stomp the barbs and having so many it forces Rome to deal with constant debt, which prevents scientific advancements.
Currently reading Waldo & Magic and Prince of Outcasts.
Elon Musk bought Twitter today; apparently I am no longer banned for calling Ana Navarro a pinche gordita. Will try to be less insulting going forward.
