an odd weekend
Jun. 21st, 2022 11:59 pmI stayed in for most of the weekend and didn't do much besides the usual blogging, Civicrack, and so on.
Made some calls about the missing money from my VA disability checks, and it seems the VHA has been collecting my copays out of the disability without telling me first, which is super irritating. On the other hand, I should get an intact check on July 1.
Weight has been up and down all weekend, though BG have been mostly normal and BP good. I slept a lot last night and woke up at 392, which was disappointing, but then I did eat an awful lot yesterday, and not enough of it was protein.
Put in my application for next tax season; Anne (the Reno DM) put out a newsletter on the 20th which had the good news that I don't have to retest for my certification. So I just have to do my 18 CE credits, jump through whatever hoops Anne wants jumped through before September 30, and I should be golden.
Made a last-minute dash to Raley's and got yogurt (can't have enough yogurt around here). more fig bars, and a gallon of Arizona Diet Green since they were out of the cans. There was a rumor going around that the price of the cans was going up to $1.29, but the company squelched that.
Not only did I get swept by the Seals but I also got swept by the Expos. Bah humbug.
