Stocking up, and small changes
Nov. 17th, 2022 10:39 amWeight was down drastically today in spite of eating 2c of rice with the (surprisingly bland) coconut chicken curry for dinner last night. BG was on the high side of nominal but BP was back to normal.
I have decided to do the Iron Noder thing on e2 in the perhaps vain hope of kick-starting my writing habit. Maybe writing a couple of short pieces every day on various subjects will get me back in the groove so I can finish The Misfit and Starfighter Girls. On a completely unrelated topic, I have started opening the blinds in the bedroom and spreading out the comforters to take advantage of the sun in the morning and warm up the bedroom, which otherwise gets damned cold this time of year. So far it seems to be helping a little bit.
Yesterday after I finished the daily CE and blogging, I went over to Raley's and stocked up on fresh meat (mostly pork), ham, flour, oats, and of course tea. It was almost $75 worth of stuff, but I saved $15 and change from coupons and various sales offers, so the hit to the NSB checkbook was only $59.
