Provo, I am in you...

 The drive to the Ramada in Provo was closer to ten hours than the 8' 47" predicted by Google and Bing, but then there were stops in Winnemucca, Wells, Elko, Wendover, and somewhere on the outskirts of SLC before I made it to the hotel. Gas was cheaper once I got out of Reno, as low as $3.599 at the Maverik in Wendover, where I topped off before entering Utah.

Food was mostly burritos and a club sandwich from various Maverik stores and a bageldog from the Love's in Wells, and this had predictable effects on my BG, which was on the high side of nominal to start with after last night's dinner at Texas Roadhouse despite doing green beans and salad instead of the sweet potato and loaded potato that tempted me. Ah, well. I will try to exercise restraint this weekend before driving back to Reno Saturday and picking up the monitor (as well as my laundry) on the way home Sunday, but what with Confinement coming up next weekend, there was no help for it. 

I'm annoyed at myself for missing all the Thursday programming at LTUE, but at least I managed to slap together a flyer for Son of Silvercon and get it printed at the Fedex here in Provo. Tomorrow I'll put them out and hopefully recruit some more people for staff and panels.
