Date: 2014-11-21 12:29 pm (UTC)Yes, Clans is weird (all Dick is weird), but there's something... more human about it than his others. Hard to explain right now - I'd have to re-read to be more specific. Maybe it's a bit more "human" because of Dick's own mental/emotional issues, and so it's not quite so distant, but that's just speculation for me right now. I didn't know about Dick's "issues" when I first read the book.
