jamestrainor for dinner, but had to cancel - the driving conditions were pretty awful, and besides that my lower back's been hurting for a few days now so I figured it would be better to just get home and rest it. It's feeling a little better now that I'm off my feet and the ibuprofen is doing its thing. Unfortunately I forgot to stop and pick up my Glipizide from the Walgreens on the way home. Dammit.
On the other hand, all the stuff I ordered from Overstock showed up, and the copy of Morison's The European Discovery of America: The Southern Voyages 1492-1616 as well. That latter was surprising - it was coming from Florida via media mail, and I didn't expect to see it until Christmas.
