T-1, or, Not Long Before The End

wombat_sochoWell, I was wrong about the schedule. I was on the clock from 10-1600, and I came in at 0900 so Heather wouldn't be alone in the office for an hour. Good thing, too, because a client came in with a seriously fucked up return that I unfucked for him. It's a little scary when someone thanks you for reducing their balance due to only $6000. Yikes. Anyway, I wrapped up about half a dozen other returns, including a couple that were (I thought) supposed to be Approve Online but the clients showed up in the office. Ah well.
Original plan (as on Saturday) was to hit Suds & Duds to do laundry after work, but I was so tired I took a nap, ate dinner, and went back to bed. Saturday's dinner was ribs from Famous Dave's, which were good except for the potato which was anything but loaded. Tonight I just nuked a couple of microwave entrees and let it go at that.
Tomorrow? Wake up at a reasonable hour (0700) shower, get breakfast at Peg's, and head in to the office. I'm only on the clock until 2000, but I have the feeling I'll be there until 2100. I'm so far ahead of the curve on commission that it's a little bit scary.
Listening to Pandora has been better for my head than listening to the same old music on Winamp.
