Everything went more or less as planned; I had breakfast at Victory's, grabbed my stuff and hit the road for the German Bread Bakery, where I blew a little over $30 on an assortment of Bad Things and a loaf of onion bread before heading back to the VA for my appointment in pulmonary. That went very well, and I was on the road again after about 20 minutes. Went down to Craig Road and got fluids along with a couple of chicken slingers at the Sonic, headed west and refueled at one of the Murphy Express ($3.99, one of the few times gas in Tonopah has been cheaper) before heading up to the Lowe's off El Capitan and Durango. Bought a huge sheet of 3/4" plywood, had it cut down to four sections of 20"x48 (plus a leftover chunk I'll probably use for shelving) and wedged that into the back of the Kia. I could have had it cut into 20"x60" sections but I didn't think that would fit in the back seat, and I was right.

Then I hit the road, not bothering to stop at Walmart or Sam's, since it was almost 1500 already. Stopped briefly at the Test Site marker and slapped some more mods on it after upgrading a couple of resos, and then I headed up 95, not stopping until Beatty for a bathroom break and a purchase of yogurt pretzels & yogurt almonds, which I noshed on to excess for a bit. Got home about 1900, hauled my stuff upstairs, went back for the boards, and after that I was too pooped to pop. I did do the necessary blogging, had some soup and onion bread, and decided to get busy installing the bed boards before I was too tired to do so. And I slept wonderfully. Tossed and turned some, of course, as I always do, but otherwise it was eight hours of good sleep.

Got dressed so I could go down and retrieve the rest of the goodies from the German Bread Bakery for breakfast (I'd left them in the trunk overnight), and it was all good. Probably shouldn't have eaten so much of it, but it's too late now.

Continuing to play Korea in Civ5. Probably should be working on Skills To Win, but I'll have time for that tonight after baseball and blogging. Went down to the post office, got syringes and Detemir from the VA, and coffee from Boca Java. Which should suffice for a while...also, found out the Koss UR-20 headphones I was going to ship off for warranty repair aren't broken after all; the jack was just a little bent.
