Didn't hear back from Anne about lodging, but I'll check my e-mail before I head up the road. I did put in some time this afternoon working on a return with a Schedule C , but the other two returns I got notifications on were actually Dena's clients so I let them be.
The DOE reimbursement check hit today, so I threw a couple hundred dollars at the Capital One cards, kept a C-note for travel expenses (the gas tank needs filling) and picked up a few tings at the Raley's, mostly tea.
Hit the post office, filed a forwarding request to send all my first-class mail and packages to the Damonte Ranch office, and picked up sundry packages, which included the kilo of mate I'd been waiting for, some glargine in place of the Detemir I've been taking, more Ozempic, and more Jardiance since I'm now taking a full pill a day. There's another package from the VA coming Saturday, but that'll go to Reno. Eventually.
Did not go out and do laundry tonight; am undecided whether to do it in the morning or just bag it up and drop it off at Duds n' Suds on Saturday or Sunday, maybe even Friday if I make it into town early enough. I'll decide in the morning.
The Lord of Hate's book on the Second Amendment is pretty good. I was afraid it would just be a rehash of his several blog posts on the subject, but it looks brand spanking new.
