Back in Reno again

wombat_socho Every time I drive up here, it seems harder than the time before...
I wound up going through Yerington instead of Fallon after all, stopping at the Maverik for Diet Coke and pork rib buns because I was out of fluids before pushing on to Reno via Route 50, Infinite Highway, and I-80. I'm downtown at the Circus Circus because my company-paid stay at the Staybridge doesn't begin until tomorrow, so in the morning I get to pack everything up but the laundry (which is in the trunk), drop off the laundry, grab some breakfast, pick up some doughnuts from Doughboy for my fellow workers, and clock in before noon.
I am considering asking Southwest to cancel my flight out of here to SLC on the 16th in favor of crediting the $$ toward the airfare to Nashville.
If I leave from work, I should be able to get to Elko before I completely run out of energy, and then I'll get up in the morning to do the rest of the 7.5 hour drive to the Provo Ramada, which is probably where I'll be staying unless Priceline puts me in the Sleep Inn across the street or something. Of course, this all depends on whether Anne & Elizabeth want me back here the week of 19-23 February to cover for Steve. I'll worry about it Monday.
