The end of pre-registration, woop woop

wombat_sochoThe weight is slowly coming down again, and I expect I'll show a wee bit of loss by the end of the month despite the trip to Vegas next week.
Made a couple of reels on Instagram encouraging people to pre-register, to no effect; we did get a couple of attending members earlier in the week, but I doubt it had anything to do with that. I'll drop by the Millennium Fandom bar and Meepleville when I'm in Las Vegas, ask to post flyers in the window, maybe see if they want vendor tables. Atomic Museum hasn't decided yet whether they're going to show up or not, but I expect they'll let me know this week or next. I doubt we'll get a last-minute at the door rush like Anime Detour did, but I would be happy if we at least got Arcana numbers.
Made some chili mac last night but was vexed that I couldn't find the three cans of Raley's chili that I intended to use. So I dumped in the Hormel chili and a can of kidney beans and a lot of cheese , and it was okay. I couldn't taste the chili powder or the garlic I added, which was disappointing. Sure enough, Murphy being the joker he is, I found the Raley's chili while I was putting the leftovers away.
Going to pry myself out of the apartment after brunch to eject garbage, pick up stuff at the post office, and (later) do laundry across the street.
