I have been contemplating for some time whether I really want to pick up Blue Oyster Cult's Imaginos and Albert Bouchard's trilogy of albums based on it, and I find myself wishing that my old friend Richard Butler was still around to discuss them with. I find myself very ambivalent on whether I really want them, since it's a dark story these albums tell, and just as I find myself reluctant to buy more Delta Green stuff, I am not sure I really need to subject myself to four albums of that story right now. Maybe I'll kick it around with Stacy McCain when I'm out East. In the meantime, I see that the Bouchard albums (Re:Imaginos, Imaginos 2 - Bombs Over Germany, and Imaginos III - Mutant Reformation) are available on YouTube, so maybe I'll check out the remixed/reorganized songs.

Speaking of odd music other people seem to like, I listened to part of a song by Heldon, the band of Richard Pinhas who was greatly favored by Matt Howarth, and it was not my sort of music. On the other hand, I expect to enjoy the Scarlett Johansson/Pete Yorn albums I ordered quite a bit. Her voice is amazing.

Currently rereading Citizen of the Galaxy, will be starting Komi Can't Communicate #29, and after that idk.

Block dropped about $900 in pay on me today; I spent almost all of it on paying down credit cards and $93 of the rest on a lot of meat, dairy products, tea, and sundry other items over at Raley's.

Heading down to Las Vegas to meet Dan Minucci and a couple of potential new chums tomorrow, one of whom knows a lot of folks in the Vegas Trek and RenFair communities.
