...except I don't have a microwave, so that wouldn't work too well. Instead of going to bed early like a sensible person, I wound up laying down and "resting" with the help of Civicrack and Iron Sunrise. Now here it is 10:30 PM and I'm not all that sleepy any more because the brain has been going on all cylinders while I administer a harsh beatdown to the Carthaginians on the one hand and follow a rollercoaster novel plot on the other whilst the AIs scheme against me. I should have just taken my medicine and gone to bed after some quality cuff time. (God, that sounds like some kind of BDSM thing. Eeeuuww.)
Tomorrow I'll be driving in, since I have the doctor's appointment over my lunch hour (so to speak) and class afterwards. I think the legs have improved a lot after a few days of hitting the cuffs religiously, but the doc knows better than I do and she'll make the call tomorrow. I'm guessing I'll be stuck with the Lasix for a while, not like I have a real clue.
I forgot to mention in my Wednesday night post that we may be staying at the Thunderbird after 2007 after all. (Even though the big Indians in front of the hotel are now gone. Gone before we even had a chance to put fukus on them, too! ;_;) Apparently Phase II of the Sprawl is projected to have a 2500-seat auditorium and additional function space; since Phase II will be right across the street from the T-bird, there's a possibility of a skyway link, and then we'd be pretty much set, wouldn't we? We'll give the Sheraton one more shot after Kale takes over, but we're none too pleased with them going in, so the deal better be an attractive one.
And with that, I am really going to bed and to sleep. Monday's going to be damn busy.
