When I posted all excited about the new Sony e-book reader that should be out soon (and that I hope to buy as soon as I can afford it). Several people advised me to get a PDA instead. On surveying the state of miniature computer, I reached the conclusion that at this point any PDA that does not include a phone is an evolutionary dead end. (I also decided that the e-book reader was better for me than the PDA, as a PDA would mean paying several hundred dollars more to get extra features I don't need as well as inferior features for what I actually want to use the thing for.)
