Progress on the home front

Picked up the living room last night, and threw out more trash this morning; the net effect is that the living room looks less like a recycling bin explosion and more like just a mess. Tomorrow I'll finish the living room, tackle the kitchen (OMFG) and the bathroom; on Thursday, the bedroom. That last should be fairly easy - mostly just shelving books, chaging the futon from winter covers to summer covers, and maybe throwing out a couple of bags of old clothing. Those haven't fit me for years and probably won't any time soon, so I don't know why I bother keeping them around.

Tonight I need to run the panel list over to thaadd in Roseville, do laundry, and pick up a couple of things at the grocery store. With any luck at all I should be able to get all that done and still get into bed at a decent hour. Maybe even some EVE. We'll see.

Reminding me, what's the status of the slash panel we had discussed pre-AD? I've never been entirely sure about whether or not we got the green light on it.

materia_indigo also asked about this and thaadd gave her a thumbs down. HOWEVER: Given that we have a dire shortage of panelists at the moment and an excess of panels, if you round up a posse of your fellow slash fans and say "Hey! I've got five people here who want to talk about hot character-on-character action for an hour!" the chances of bringing it out of limbo and onto the grid suddenly get exponentially better.

Speaking of which, that dire shortage of panelists also applies to the anime & manga panels. I'm going to post a notice on the AD forums about this, but I would appreciate it if you could noodge your friends and get them to e-mail thaadd or myself about taking part in the anime, manga & TV panels. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dude. I actually have six people already who want to be on that particular panel. I'll submit something official-ish in the next few days.

I'm personally trying to limit myself to four panels tops this year due to room partying, but I'll see what I can do to pimp the subject matter for you.

I understand completely about wanting to cut down on panels. Especially while running a room party. *cringes*
